WHAT customers SAY

Tying in to a belay when trad climbing

Been on a few trad climbing and scrambling days with Sam from Lake District Mountaineering and each outing has been absolutely brilliant.
The experience is perfect for somebody wanting to try something new. Sam's knowledge is fantastic and I've truly learned a lot each session.

Using a safety lanyard for climbing

Sam gave us a brilliant two days of instruction on the Rock Skills Intermediate course. All his instruction was very clear with the opportunity to ask lots of questions and he provided a nice mix of hands-on experience but also opportunities to practice our skills. He also gave us some great coaching tips to improve our climbing both indoors and outdoors. Throughout the whole course, I felt safe and at ease.

A direct belay for scrambling

Have no climbing experience, so tried this beginner course. Was very impressed with the organisation and communications before the event. Naturally this continued from the time we met until departure at 4pm. The day passed really quickly and was great fun.
