We generally meet you on location.
Our meeting times and locations will all be finalised and clarified with you during the booking stage. We will attach directions and maps and provide as much detail as we can prior to meeting.
We send itinerary forms with full details for your booking - this will outline all of the logistics for the day.
KIT AND EQUIPMENT

Each list is specific to each activity, allowing for variation between disciplines.
Essentially you should turn up for a session with lunch & snacks, 1 litre of water per person and personal medication inside a rucksack to carry all of these items.
Should it be required, please bring along your personal medications and alert us to the fact you have them on your person, this includes their location and what to do in an emergency. All of this will be covered on the medical forms you will receive upon booking, but please remind us on the day just in case anything has changed.
Eg. Inhalers, Insulin, EpiPen etc
The weather conditions in the mountains can be adverse. The Lake District sees a lot of rain so be prepared. The weather often differs on the summits than what is being experienced in the valleys, expect colder and windier weather as you gain height. That being said, we do have nice days and when its good weather, there is no better place to be.

Whilst our instructors will do everything in our power to ensure your safety, the dynamic nature of the outdoor environment means we can never ensure your safety in every situation. You are responsible for excepting the risks of injury or death and we ask that you read the British Mountaineering Councils participation statement below.
