WHAT customers SAY

Westmorland cairn on Great Gable

Really great course. Learnt a lot and feel a lot more confident in using a map and compass. Nice small group (4 of us). Sam is very knowledgable and friendly. Keen to do further courses with Lake District Mountaineering!

My husband booked a bespoke navigation course with Sam. Sam kept everything so simple and easy to follow, that by the end of the day I felt I had a good basic grasp of navigating. Can't wait to put my new skills to good use.

Thanks Sam. I had a brilliant time and highly recommend your courses for anyone wanting to gain more confidence when out on the fells!!

Fabulous day with Sam working on nav skills. A lovely guy, easy to get on with, Sam has a great & structured approach to your learning, he's very clear & easy to understand. I had a 1:1 & Sam tailored the day to get the best out of it for what I wanted, so despite the slightly challenging weather, I had a great day & learnt a lot.

We look forward to hearing from you and working towards your mountaineering ambitions and helping to achieve your goals.
