Hill walking is an accessible sport and can be enjoyed by many.  Everybody shares a common interest; to enjoy the mountains and its dramatic scenery. 

Safety in the mountains is paramount and these courses are designed to inspire, educate and encourage people into the outdoors, allowing them to gain the skills to operate safely in this environment.  Navigation skills are key to safely enjoy the fells; learn about maps & compass and all the technicalities of good navigation in a fun, safe environment. 

Choose a course from the listed dates - these are displayed on each course page - our courses have 6 spaces available and are open session or you can enquire to undertake a course privately at a time that suits you.

For beginner hill walkers or novices looking to gain confidence in map reading.

A bespoke and private day, just for you and your party.  All of the day is offered at your current skill level, to aid progression and focus on whatever aspect of navigation you wish to improve.
