Intro to scrambling courses available for those looking to build confidence on Grade I terrain. For those looking for progress and to develop into Grade III scrambles, we have an advanced course designed to show you the rope skills and technical skills for this terrain.

Intro to scrambling
For mountain walkers looking to progress into grade I scrambles. This course looks at the necessary skills for managing your safety in steep and exposed terrain, allowing you to take new and interesting lines to the summits.
This is an unroped scrambling course at grade I.

advanced scrambling
For those comfortable at Grade I and looking for an introduction to roped scrambling. Gain exposure, learn to move on a rope and tackle scrambles up to Grade III. Two days, being guided in the mountains, accessing some of the best scrambles in the Lake District.
This course would be great for those preparing for an alps trip and looking to get some roped mileage on rock.
