Outline
Stickle Ghyll is based in the Langdale Valley. We will meet you on location at the Sticklebarn car park where you will be provided with all the equipment for a fun trip up the gorge.
This session is up to 2.5 hours long.
We will enter via a crystal clear pool - splash around, get wet and embrace the water before we journey upwards.
Our journey will include scrambles and climbs, roped climbs up waterfalls and cascades, fallen trees and boulders to hop over and duck under. We will play some fun games and get you immersed and submerged in the plentiful plunge pools.
This is a great trip ideal for beginner Ghyll scramblers and families alike!
The experience can be tailored to the group, allowing for easier and harder variations depending on age and ability levels.

Wetsuits, harnesses, helmets and technical equipment will be provided. Please wear swimwear under the wetsuit and bring a towel and a hot drink for afterwards. Sturdy trainers or walking boots are advised - no open toe footwear or water shoes.
