This course would suit climbers looking to transition from indoor to outdoor, or single pitch climbers looking gain more knowledge and skills towards progressing into multi pitch venues.
We will progress your climbing knowledge throughout the day by teaching you about modern gear such as nuts, cams and hexes and its placement in the rock. We will link gear together to build belays and discuss climbing principles for safe and solid belays. This will give a solid foundation of knowledge to work from moving forward.
On day 2 we would hope to consolidate this learning on a multi pitch climb or similar. We will look after you in this terrain and create opportunities for you to make decisions in a mountain environment and work towards becoming a more well-rounded, independent climber.
This course works best when booked for 2 people
All technical equipment will be supplied. This includes harness, helmet, hardware and ropes are all included in the session.
We would expect you to own a pair of rock shoes for this course.
