Outline
The VF Extreme scales Honister Crag via a series of steep ladders, wire bridges and cargo nets. This is a thoroughly rewarding session, high in the mountains and accompanied by dramatic scenery.
We will meet you at Honister Slate Mine, fill in the paperwork, kit you up for the course and head off to the start. Here we will offer a full safety brief and demonstration.
The climbing is fun and the session tops out on the summit of Black Star, here are fantastic views down the Buttermere valley.
You will need to wear clothing suitable for the mountains and be able to stay warm and dry for up to 3 hours outside.
The weather at Honister can be wet and the crag can be cold so be prepared.
You will need wear boots or sturdy trainers.
All technical equipment is provided - harnesses, helmets and Via Ferrata lanyards.
