Pinnacle Ridge - St Sunday Crag - Scrambling in the Lake District

Course Outline

For hillwalkers looking to progress their skills and venture into more exciting terrain and incorporate narrow ridges, airy buttresses and steep ascents into their mountain day.

This course will venture into graded scrambling terrain.  We will cover aspects such as planning, guidebook interpretation and route finding. A rope isn't usually required on grade 1 and 2 terrain but we will teach you methods of safeguarding yourself and others.  Emergency ropework can be covered.

Complete a classic scramble in the Lakes with an experienced instructor and take away the skills and knowledge to plan your own adventures.

Equipment

Any technical gear such as ropes and helmets will be provided.

We would expect you to wear mountain clothing suitable for the conditions on the day.

Please adhere to the hill walking/scrambling kit lists.

Any kit necessary will be discussed during the booking stage.

Please contact us for a bespoke package and private course details
