OVERVIEW
LDM offers full adventures days for groups, families, stag & hen parties. These days are bespoke and tailored for your group.
We will supply the same instructor for the full day.
The day runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm and includes two activities, with a lunch break in between.
This day is based in the South Lakes, and is good for those staying close to Windermere, Ambleside or Coniston and their surrounding areas.
On the day, you will meet your instructor in Langdale, at the Sticklebarn National Trust car park.
Our morning climbing experience is an opportunity to experience the thrill of being a rock climber.
Your instructor will set up top rope systems for you to climb the wall, and be lowered back down once at the top. This is a safe and fun method to discover climbing. The difficulty can be tailored specific to the level of the group as all the climbs are rigged by the instructors on site.
During the session it may be possible to learn some new skills such as belaying, tying in and abseiling.
After lunch, the instrcutor will take you Ghyll Scrambling in Stickle Ghyll.
On this session, your journey will include scrambles and climbs, roped climbs up waterfalls and cascades. There are fallen trees and boulders to hop over and duck under.
We will play some fun games and get you immersed and submerged in the plentiful plunge pools.
This is a great trip ideal for beginner Ghyll scramblers and families alike!
The experience can be tailored to the group, allowing for easier and harder variations depending on age and ability levels.
